These photos were taken during a training session at a family owned Mixed Martial Arts gym, aptly named Hyde MMA in Manchester. This is a gym with a dedicated number of members who train incredibly hard under the guidance of coach Alan.

It was important to me to take action shots, to capture the hard work and atmosphere in the gym. These photos are special as they were taken for a written article featured on Disabilityisability.com. This is a project founded by Harry Williams to raise awareness and to highlight how people who are limb different have the ability to do the same as an able-bodied person. Featured in the first and a few other photos is Harry himself who trains in MMA. Harry has a disability, Radial Dysplasia (Radial Club Hand) which is a condition where the radius bone is missing forcing the hand to be bent towards the body. With this, Harry also deals with another condition named Klippel-Feil Syndrome which is the abnormal fusion of a number of spinal bones in the neck. Harry overcomes these difficulties in his everyday life and does not let his disability define him or control him in any way.

Anti Social Media is a short documentary exploring social media use in the 21st century. The film tackles the topic from an objective angle, looking at both the positive and negative aspects of social media. Anti Social Media follows self-acclaimed social media addict Hana as she partakes in a five day detox, with a commentary from Clinical Psychologist Dr Benjamin Rosser. Similarly, the film uses answers from a group of people who discuss their experiences using social media. The film sets out to offer the audience the opportunity to reflect on their own personal use of social media and to decide where they think it is a useful tool, or a hindrance.
